I always suspected that Antonio Gades was a Nikon guy. If you have never seen him in Carlos Saura's Carmen - go get a copy - amazing! In this movie Antonio, a famous flamenco choreographer, searches Spain for a dancer who can authentically perform the role of Carmen in an upcoming production. He finds such a dancer in an obscure village and she joins his dance studio. This dancer’s name coincidently happens to be “Carmen.” Antonio and the other dancers begin to teach her to take on the role, but there was no need, because she is not only Carmen in name. Antonio is no longer with is, but his art lives on.
