Ever wondered how big the problem of racism is in Canada? Ever wondered how racism connects to other isms? Ever thought that maybe all forms of oppression are connected, and if we could only figure these connections, then maybe we could stop them all? Ever puzzled about what social inclusion and social exclusion are and why they matter? This workshop will answer these and many more questions. Participants will explore race, racism and other isms in a way that leaves them with a concrete understanding of how oppression operates in Canada, and with practical ideas about how to overcome these isms in social justice work.
