A Tactical Rescue Unit (T.R.U.) officer uses a building for cover in a recent police training exercise. Having the opportunity to watch and photograph these exercises for a day, I left impressed by both the Hamilton and Halton unit’s professionalism, and also by the attention to detail they pay developing each officer’s individual skill and the unit’s collective skill in using the minimum amount of force required to deliver an effective response. |
